1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and SAS Labs ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the IntervuMate iOS application ("App").
By downloading, installing, or using IntervuMate, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Important: IntervuMate is an AI-powered interview preparation tool. AI-generated answers are for practice purposes only and should not be treated as professional career advice. You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use IntervuMate. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License & Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use IntervuMate on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.
You may:
- Use the App to practice and prepare for job interviews with AI-powered Q&A
- Store and review your interview session history
- Upload your resume for personalized answer generation
- Purchase a subscription to unlock premium features
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App for automated or bulk processing of interview questions
- Misrepresent AI-generated answers as your own original work in professional settings where such disclosure is required
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with subscription or usage limit features
- Use the App in any way that could damage, overburden, or impair our services
- Create multiple accounts to exploit free-tier limits
4. Account & Security
IntervuMate uses Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately at saslabs.corp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access
Account note: Signing in is optional. You can use IntervuMate without an account, but your session history will only be stored locally and will be lost if you delete the app. Signing in enables cloud sync of your session data across devices.
5. Subscriptions & Payments

Billing
- All payments are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period
- Prices are in US Dollars (USD). Prices may vary by region as determined by the App Store
Cancellation & Refunds
- You may cancel a subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- All refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- We do not issue direct refunds outside of Apple's refund process
Free Tier
The free tier allows up to 25 interactions (questions detected and answered) with core interview preparation features. Exceeding this limit requires a paid plan. We reserve the right to change the free tier limits with reasonable notice.
6. AI-Generated Content
IntervuMate uses artificial intelligence to generate interview answers and suggestions ("AI Content"). You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI Content is generated for practice and preparation purposes only
- AI Content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every interview scenario
- You should always verify and adapt AI-generated answers based on your own knowledge and experience
- We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using AI Content (e.g., job offers, interview success)
- AI Content does not constitute professional career counseling, legal advice, or employment advice
Best practice: Use IntervuMate as a preparation tool to practice articulating your responses. Always personalize AI-generated answers with your own experiences and verify technical content before using it in real interviews.
7. Prohibited Content & Conduct
You must not use IntervuMate to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically download AI-generated content for redistribution
- Use the App to cheat during live interviews or assessments where AI assistance is prohibited
- Distribute or sell AI-generated answers as a commercial product or service
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination.
8. Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep IntervuMate available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice where possible
- Update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice — existing subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
No Warranty
IntervuMate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
AI Accuracy
While we strive for high-quality AI-generated answers, we do not warrant that:
- AI-generated content is always accurate, up-to-date, or error-free
- The App will meet your specific interview preparation needs
- Speech recognition will work perfectly in all environments or accents
- The service will be available without interruption
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SAS Labs' total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of IntervuMate shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of employment opportunities.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SAS Labs and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Your use of AI-generated content in professional or personal contexts
11. Apple App Store – Additional Terms
The following terms apply in accordance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines and the Apple Developer Program License Agreement:
- These Terms are between you and SAS Labs only, not Apple Inc.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for IntervuMate
- Apple is not responsible for any product claims relating to IntervuMate
- Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claims
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary
- In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall govern with respect to your use of the App on Apple devices
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at saslabs.corp@gmail.com. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted, through courts of competent jurisdiction.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to IntervuMate immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App is immediately revoked
- You remain responsible for any outstanding subscription charges already processed by Apple
- Sections covering limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You can also contact us at saslabs.corp@gmail.com to request deletion of your account and associated data.
