Welcome to IntervuMate, an AI-powered interview preparation app developed by SAS Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and your right to privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. It applies to all users of the IntervuMate iOS application ("App").
Short version: Your interview data is processed on-device and in transit via secure channels. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
IntervuMate is built with privacy and security as core principles. All sensitive user data is handled with industry-standard protections.

We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA), use cross-app tracking, or share any data with advertising networks. NSPrivacyTracking is set to false.

Interview question text sent to the AI service is transmitted over encrypted TLS connections. No personally identifiable information (name, email) is included in AI API requests.

You can revoke any permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security on your device.
Interview session history, resume text, and app preferences are stored in the app's sandboxed container. They are automatically removed when you delete the app, or you can manually clear session history within the app via Settings.
If you are signed in, session data is synced to Firebase Firestore under your user account. You can:
Account deletion permanently removes all data from our servers within 30 days.
IntervuMate is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

California residents may exercise rights under CCPA. EEA/UK residents may exercise rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. We do not sell personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of IntervuMate after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
