Open WhatsIn โ your subscription should restore automatically when you sign in with the same Apple ID. If not, contact us with your Apple ID email.
Point your camera at a product barcode. WhatsIn uses Apple Vision to detect the barcode, looks up the product in the Open Food Facts database, then uses AI to analyze the ingredients for health insights and allergen warnings.
Take a photo of an ingredient label. WhatsIn uses OCR (optical character recognition) to extract the text, then AI analyzes the ingredients for health impact, additives, and allergens.
WhatsIn checks against 18 allergen categories with multi-language support. However, product formulations can change and AI analysis may not catch every allergen or cross-contamination risk. Always read product labels directly for serious allergy concerns.
Free users get a limited number of barcode scans and photo scans per day. You can increase limits by referring friends or upgrading to Premium for unlimited scans.
Share your unique 6-character referral code with friends. When they sign up, you earn extra daily scans โ 5 additional barcode scans and 2 additional photo scans per referral.
Yes! After scanning a product, tap to open the AI chat. You can ask questions about specific ingredients, health effects, dietary compatibility, and more. The chat is powered by Google Gemini.
Go to your profile settings and add your allergens. WhatsIn will then highlight any detected allergens in your scan results so you can make safer choices.
On your iPhone: Settings โ tap your name โ Subscriptions โ WhatsIn โ Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Local cached data is removed when you delete the app. Your account, scan history, and preferences remain stored in the cloud. Reinstall the app and sign in with the same Google account to restore your data.
Deleting your account removes all data from our servers permanently within 30 days. This action cannot be undone. Contact us at saslabs.corp@gmail.com to request account deletion.
