These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and SAS Labs ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the SnapVault iOS application ("App").
By downloading, installing, or using SnapVault, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
⚠️ Important: SnapVault is a personal vault tool. You are solely responsible for the content you store in it and for keeping your PIN and account credentials secure.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use SnapVault. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use SnapVault on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.
SnapVault uses Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for:
🔑 Encryption key responsibility: Your content is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key stored in your device Keychain. If you permanently lose access to your account and device without a cloud-synced key backup, your encrypted data may be irrecoverable. We cannot decrypt your data for you.

The free tier allows storage of up to 50 items with core security features. Exceeding this limit requires a paid plan. We reserve the right to change the free tier limits with reasonable notice.
You retain full ownership of all content you store in SnapVault ("Your Content"). By using the cloud sync feature, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.
You represent and warrant that:
⚠️ We may be required by law to report or cooperate with law enforcement regarding illegal content. Because your content is encrypted end-to-end, we have no ability to proactively review it. However, account information (email, user ID) may be disclosed pursuant to a lawful legal order.
You must not use SnapVault to store, share, or process:
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and reporting to the relevant authorities.
We strive to keep SnapVault available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:
SnapVault is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
While we implement strong encryption and backup mechanisms, we are not responsible for data loss caused by:
We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups of critical files.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SAS Labs' total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of SnapVault shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of privacy.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SAS Labs and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at saslabs.corp@gmail.com. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted, through courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may terminate or suspend your access to SnapVault immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:
